LOUNGE AND HALLWAY
BOLTON
As a high footfall area, entranceways and hallways are generally overlooked areas for design attention, but really do set the tone for the rest of the house. Having already redesigned this client’s lounge and dining rooms, we were excited to make the most of this fabulously appointed space, which was previously just seen as a throughway to the upstairs and the rest of the house. Now it exudes elegance and shouts confidence without being overpowering or impractical. Contrasting the dark dusky blue walls with monochrome accents, warm wooden herringbone flooring and gilt touches throughout, the effect is a space you want to linger in rather than pass by un-noticed. The stunning round glass table with gilt legs is a substantial piece of furniture but fits effortlessly into this exciting and welcoming scheme and has you curious of what is behind the other doors in the house. Watch this space.
